What kit do I need to bring on the day?
|
Castleshaw 24, England in July! It could be cold, wet and as it's a 24 hour event, possibly dark…remember to bring a torch you will NOT be running a lap without one in the dark! You will not be allowed to run if you do not have your own suitable torch, NOT a £2.50 hand torch from Tescos etc. There are several things that you will need on the day to help you to perform your best. The following list is just a suggestion of what we have found useful - talk to other athletes, Marathoners, Join a local club who will be able to give you some great advice and develop a list to best suit you.
Mandatory kit - unless the weather forecast is very bad there is no mandatory kit however if the weather forecast is bad (blizzards, heavy rain/winds etc) full body cover (long sleeve windproof top & bottoms) will be required. We will try and notify you by text & or email if we are expecting this but it is suggested you bring it just in case, you can always leave it in your car, tent or with luggage storage, if you do not need it. You are camping in July, don't forget your sleeping bag! Toilet roll.... don't come crying to us if we run out. YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN CUP FOR THE AID STATION, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP THIS CLEAN. |
How can I check race results?
|
Race results will be published within 48 hours after the race ends, at the event HQ and on our website under the 'Event Results'. It is your responsibility to visit the website if you want them in a hurry. - you will also be abele to. heck these one one of the tablet PC's scattered around HQ
